Climb to the Top of the Waterfall

After doing several rounds of stretches, you feel limber enough to attempt to scale the rock wall next to the waterfall. While a t-shirt and boxers are not exactly proper climbing equipment, you know that we all have to make sacrifices when our bubble gum collections are stolen and hidden by our girlfriends. 

Amazingly, you make it to the top relatively unscathed and begin your search for the second clue. You spy a bush that looks perfect for hiding a clue in, as some bushes often do. You rush over to it and spread the branches apart, searching for the clue. You see it jammed between two twigs and yank it free.  

Clue #2

Cross the river you must do,
To reach the third clue I've left for you,
Where it lies I'll never tell,
But I can tell you that the place does smell

The only place in town that smells bad is the dump. The dump is fairly nearby so you leap into your car and speed off towards it.
