Many Disappointed By State of the Union Address

The tears flowed like the Thames River at the Capitol on Tuesday as busloads of teenage girls were disappointed by the State of the Union Address after confusing its title with the name of an upcoming tour of the boy band, Union J. Several of the girls were wearing handmade t-shirts with the words "State of the Union!" across the front headlining a portrait of the British boy band. When they arrived at the Capitol, thinking it was a very upscale concert venue, the fans immediately realized their mistake when President Obama approached the podium to deliver his State of the Union Address. Almost as if on cue the fans burst into tears and ran from the Capitol as Speaker John Boehner stared angrily after them and then checked his tan in a miniature mirror.
